This is not a story of personal experience, but rather, is another's experience explained to me by father.
He told me a story of a guy simpling peeing at the urinal. This man, unfortunately, dropped a quarter into the urinal. However, given the small value of a quarter, he simply could not justify putting his hand into the urinal to retreive his quarter.
What this potentially insane, and perhaps genius/perhaps not, decided to do was set up a condition that he could justify putting his hand into the urinal to retreive his quarter. This condition was that he would drop $5 dollars in change into the urinal--this would be a sufficient condition in order to retreive his lost quarter. So, in fact, that is exactly what this gentleman did--he dropped in five dollars in change and retrieved his quarter.
Personally, I could not do this unless it was for more money than $5 dollars. I might do it for like $100 bucks. Why just a $100?? I would imagine that a urinal would be overflowing at this point--it is quite possible that I would never have to touch the urinal water. Once I would have to--bets off.

Why not just leave the damn quarter and walk away? I know times have been tough lately, but leave the quarter and walk away.
What an idiot!
